ICT in Teaching and Learning Process

Main Idea: In globalization era, technology hold important role in all of aspects. Almost all of people use technology to make their activity easier. And the most important of technology that usually use by people is Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It uses Not only at office to help employees do their task easier, but also it uses at school too, to make teaching process become more interesting and effective. Many teachers use ICT system to develop their students’ interest to follow the lessons in teaching process.  Using ICT in teaching and learning process has some advantages for teacher and students.

Detail #1: Process in teaching and learning is very influence about the result of learning process itself. Teacher must have good strategy to increase their students’ motivation in teaching process. Using visual media like Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has some advantages for teacher. It can make teaching process more efficient, develop students’ creativity and makes them enjoy at class to follow the lesson. Because using this media poses many pictures and the material not so much, so it is effective to students to receive the material and makes students more interest to follow the lesson. In short, media that used in teaching process by the teacher has effect and can influence the result of the students’ value in learning process.

Detail #2: Using ICT in teaching process gives some advantages to the students. Using ICT in teaching process become motivation factor to the students. The internet can act as a motivating tool for many students. Students must capitalize on this interest, excitement, and enthusiasm about the internet for the purpose of enhancing learning. Beside that use ICT in teaching process can be a cooperative learning. The internet facilitates cooperative learning, encourages dialogue, and creates a more engaging classroom. To sum up, using ICT in teaching process can increase student interest in teaching and learning process.

Conclusion: In sum, using ICT in modern era gives some advantages for the users. Not only for the business system but also in teaching process. By use ICT in teaching process can make situation in teaching and learning process more interesting and more benefit for the teacher and the students, by some advantages that had be given by use ICT.
